I can't believe that over 700 schools have off today, including my brother's in the Northeast, and the Philadelphia School District is still open.

Luckily I have a pass out of school, since I started getting sick yesterday.

So I was ill over winter break, and the doctor gave me amoxicillin pills that I was to take twice a day for 10 days, and my fear of pills (I have a hard time swallowing them, once I start panicking about it the thing stays stuck in my mouth till it melts) is such that I took them faithfully up till the 4th day, decided I felt better, and stopped.

This is so strange, I thought yesterday, I have the same symptoms--
